✵ First Impressions

⚔ VISUAL: Ren is 17-going-on-18, approximately 5'7", and has a fairly slender build that speaks to years of fighting with cards rather than real weapons. His most striking feature is his eyes, which have slitted pupils like a cat's. And of course, his eyes are red to match his wild, fluffy, red hair. The biggest difference between his in-game appearance and icons is that he has stopped wearing his school uniform 90% of the time, and he sometimes has his hair down (but only sometimes!).

⚔ FASHION: Ren's favorite colors to wear are red and black, followed by white and gray. If he's not wearing his school uniform, he tends to lean more toward dressing like a rock musician on his off time. Most of his regular outfits include a black ribbon choker; in-game, he's also started wearing a lion-themed bracelet along with a plain, black bracelet.

⚔ DEMEANOUR: When he's around other people, Ren generally acts friendly but somewhat child-like and airheaded, to the point that one might wonder whether he's actually good for anything. This is a deliberate choice, and beneath the silliness, he can actually be quite serious and perceptive. However, even during a serious talk, he may still act like he isn't taking it seriously or change temperaments at the drop of a hat. He also has no sense of personal space, although he'll stop short of actually grabbing or touching someone.

Mostly notably, Ren never seems to be afraid of anything, and he very rarely loses his temper, far past the point when any normal person would have. When he does actually let himself be angry, it's a very cold and restrained anger and he's quick to resolve the situation as soon as possible.

⚔ AURAL: Ren's voice is higher pitched with a breathy quality and sounds more or less child-like depending on his mood and acting. He uses polite speech enders, "boku" for himself, "kimi" for others, and usually uses honorifics, although he does often assume more familiarity between himself and others than actually exists (using no honorifics or a nickname or -kun for someone he's just met, usually for people close to his age). Notably, he uses -san for all women, regardless of age or familiarity (except for Asaka).

⚔ MENTAL/MAGICAL INFORMATION: Ren doesn't have anything in the way of mental shields--in fact, he almost seems more open than one might expect given his sheer willpower. However, what he does have is a psychic ability of his own: a power called Psyqualia, which connects him (and anyone else he wants) mentally to the planet Cray. So anyone trying to delve into his mind might find themselves on another planet instead. This is also a spiritual power, for the magically inclined out there.

Ren also has a fragment of the Link Joker seed, which may seem like a knot of malice and nothingness in the heart of his energy but should also seem quite weak.

Ren's energy is light to hot to dark pink or even red, depending on mood and animation team.
